Politico reports on the road that has led Barack Obama to become a “green” president. Climate change and health care were critical elements in Obama’s campaign in 2008, but during his first years in office he focused on the economy and health care. The environment seemed to drop down on the priority list. In the last leg of Obama’s presidency, his current efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions might become his biggest achievement and legacy.
