Alisa Joyce Barba is an award-winning journalist, producer, writer and editor with 25 years experience in both network and public broadcasting. Prior to IE, she served as Senior Editor for Fronteras: the Changing America Desk, a regional news collaboration project involving seven public radio stations across the southwest. She also served as Western Bureau Chief for NPR for 12 years.
Dan Boyce comes to the Inside Energy team after five years of television and radio reporting in his home state of Montana. In his most recent role as Montana Public Radio’s Capitol Bureau Chief, Dan produced daily stories on state politics and government.
Laura Frank is Vice President of News at Rocky Mountain PBS. I-News delivers multimedia reports to news outlets across the Rocky Mountain region and is a founding member of the national nonprofit Investigative News Network.
Emily Guerin comes to Inside Energy after working as a correspondent at High Country News, a magazine that reports on energy and environmental issues in the American West. She was also the interim news director for KVNF, a community radio station serving rural Western Colorado.
Stephanie Joyce reports on energy and natural resources for Wyoming Public Radio. Before joining WPR, she was the news director at KUCB, a public radio station in Alaska's Aleutian Islands. She's a former Metcalf Institute Science Reporting fellow and the recipient of a Middlebury Environmental Journalism fellowship. Stephanie contributes many of her reports to Inside Energy.
Leigh Paterson was raised in New Jersey, graduated from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, and then taught English at a culinary high school in France. Leigh then got her Master's in Broadcast Journalism from the S.I Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, and then moved to Washington D.C. in 2009. After spending two years as a producer at CanadianTV's Washington bureau, Leigh left to freelance. Since then, as a one woman show, she has reported for TV and radio from across the country for BBC News, BBC World Service, PRI's the World, ABC-Univision, Agence France Presse, and CBC News.
Linda Sease is principal of the Sterling Sease Group, LLC and has almost 35 years of experience in all aspects of marketing communications including brand development, product marketing, corporate communications, advertising, newspaper and radio media management, media buying, sports marketing, non-profit marketing and special events.
Jordan Wirfs-Brock is a data journalist and civic technologist whose passion is telling stories with data and empowering others do the same. She previously worked in the Piton Foundation's Data Initiative, where she used neighborhood-level data to help people improve their communities.
